Awernica Cookie Policy

What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Local storage and session storage work the same way. Norwegian law (ekomloven § 3-15) requires your consent before a website stores or reads anything on your device, unless it is strictly necessary for a service you asked for.
Awernica only uses what is strictly necessary until you choose otherwise. Nothing optional is loaded before you answer, and rejecting is as easy as accepting.
Categories
- Strictly necessary. Sign-in, security timeouts, choices you make yourself (such as currency or a saved table layout) and remembering this consent choice. Always on.
- Preferences. Conveniences we keep without you asking each time: your recent searches, and the order of manufacturers and systems based on what you have visited. Requires your consent.
- Statistics. Counting page views, searches, clicks and comparisons so we can see what is used. No advertising, no cross-site tracking. Requires your consent.
- Marketing. Advertising and conversion tracking. Awernica uses none today; this stays off until something is introduced and described here. Requires your consent.

Changing or withdrawing consent
Use “Cookie settings” in the footer of any page, in your account settings or the button below. Withdrawing is as easy as giving consent: collection stops at once and the storage we set for that category is removed from this browser. We ask again after 365 days or when this list changes.
When you are signed in, we keep a record of your choice (time, version and categories) as documentation of consent.
