AMAG Technology Symmetry
Expand Beyond the Door with Symmetry Access Control
AMAG Symmetry is an enterprise-grade physical security management platform developed by AMAG Technology. It provides integrated access control, alarm monitoring, video surveillance integration, intrusion management, and security operations within a centralized environment. The platform supports cardholder and credential management, access rights administration, visitor management integrations, event-driven automation, and real-time monitoring of doors, controllers, and security alarms. Its modular architecture enables organizations to deploy security solutions across single facilities, multi-site environments, and large enterprise installations. Symmetry integrates with compatible access control hardware, video management systems, biometric readers, intrusion detection systems, and third-party security technologies. Advanced capabilities can be extended through supported integrations and complementary AMAG solutions. Designed for commercial, government, critical infrastructure, and high-security environments, AMAG Symmetry provides scalable system management, configurable security workflows, detailed audit trails, and reporting capabilities to support complex physical security operations.

Architecture
Deployment models, system topology and availability features.
AMAG Symmetry uses a modular, capacity-based licensing model, with available features and system limits determined by the selected software edition, licensed reader capacity, client connections and optional integrations. Traditional Symmetry Security Management System deployments support perpetual software licensing. Additional licenses may be required for expanded access control capacity, enterprise functionality, video integration, third-party systems and advanced security features. Software maintenance and support agreements provide access to eligible updates, technical support and upgrade entitlements according to the applicable commercial terms. Subscription licensing for the traditional Symmetry SMS platform has not been independently verified. Cloud-based or subscription services offered elsewhere in the AMAG portfolio should be evaluated separately.
